One of the two Spanish league teams that Maradona played for during his career was Sevilla.
The Nervión club has issued a video on its social networks with some of the best moments that the ’10’ experienced during his stay there.
With a tango in the background, you can see Maradona being acclaimed as a true idol upon his arrival at Sánchez Pizjuán on the team bus, some of the best goals and quality details on the field and also his dedication to all the Sevillian fans : “Very happy with the fans here” he says at one point at the end.
Maradona only spent one season at Sevilla. It was in 1992-93, with 33 years and already in the final stretch of his career.
Still, as a great genius in football history, he also left an indelible mark there.
During the mentioned year, Pelusa played a total of 29 games in which he scored eight goals and distributed 13 assists.
